MIAT and Toki expand digital flight-ticket services
Users can check flight schedules and fares in Toki’s “International” section and purchase tickets through its credit service.

ULAANBAATAR, October 6, 2026 — MIAT Mongolian Airlines and the Toki app, a subsidiary of Unitel Group, have signed a cooperation agreement and officially launched a new service allowing users to book MIAT flights digitally through the Toki app.
Under the new service, users can go to the “International” section of the Toki app to view MIAT flight routes, schedules and ticket prices, and book tickets directly. They can also use Toki’s credit service to purchase their tickets.
MIAT expects the number of passengers it serves to reach 1.2 million in 2026. As passenger traffic grows, demand is also increasing for faster and easier digital solutions for booking flights. The partnership is intended to bring MIAT’s services closer to users’ everyday digital activities.
Toki is part of Unitel Group’s digital ecosystem, offering a range of everyday services including payments, transport, ticketing, shopping and parking. According to Toki, the platform has 1.5 million active users and is used by more than 4,000 organisations.
The cooperation between MIAT and Toki is expected to extend beyond ticket bookings. The two sides have discussed gradually introducing additional features for users travelling abroad, including the ability to use MIAT loyalty points through the Toki app and pay for flight tickets in instalments.
During the launch, Unitel Group Chief Executive Officer D. Jamiyansharav said the company was pleased to serve as a technology partner in making MIAT’s products and services more accessible and convenient for the public. He added that the group intends to expand the cooperation in the future.
For MIAT, the service represents another step towards expanding international flight ticket sales through digital channels. Its official website currently provides flight information and booking services for international routes from Ulaanbaatar to destinations including Tokyo, Seoul, Istanbul, Frankfurt, Beijing and Hong Kong.
The partnership between a Mongolian technology platform and the national carrier is drawing attention for its potential to strengthen links between tourism, international passenger transport and digital payment services. It also gives users the option to search for and purchase flight tickets through a platform they already use in their daily lives, offering an example of the digital transformation of travel services.
